My ? is, How do I download pics or videos from my phone to my laptop for saving? Right now I email myself the photos 1 by 1 and that tends to be very annoying.

Have you tried connecting your phone to your computer via the usb and then taking the pics off your phone? When I connect my bb to my computer it reads like a mass storage drive and I can transfer files that way.

That works with a media card. Select to enable mass storage and the card will read like another drive.
