I searched but could not find anything.

My old blackberry just out of the blue stopped working therefore I just received my new blackberry.

Before my old berry stopped working I had did a backup of it, when I went to restore the data, I noticed address book was not listed upon the things to be restored, therefore, I cancelled the operation before it started.

How can I get those numbers saved on my computer onto my new berry?

Also, since I was running a newer OS then I am now on my old phone, would it cause any trouble to do the restore option?

Connect your phone, Open DM, choose Backup/Restore then Advanced.
In the pane on the left click "File" then open and select that Backup
    file from your old phone.

Once the list populates, highlight Address Book, now click the
arrow pointing to the right and that should move your address
    book to your new device.

And no the OS version should not make a difference for this process

I did that before and it was not working, I could not highlight the address book.

However, I tried again and used the Backup Loader instead of backup file and it worked this time!

    Thank you!

What AG says is correct. To verify the backup (ipd) file, try this Free download ABC Amber BlackBerry Convertor, parse, convert, backup and archive IPD files to CHM, PDF, HTML, Word, Access, Excel, CSV, IPD Extractor ipd file converter $19.95
It has a demo mode so you can see if it will help before you buy.
