What program are you using to store your contact information? If it is Outlook, you should be able to synchronize your address book so it shows on your BB.

Have you installed Desktop Manager on your PC?

If you haven't already, get the latest version of Desktop Manager here: https://www.blackberry.com/Downloads...93E4F3BB068C22. There are varying opinions on whether 4.3 or 4.2 SP 2 (4.2.2) is better. I recommend starting with 4.3 and, if that doesn't work, uninstall it and install 4.2.2. I DO NOT recommend installing Media Manager, so you'll have to do a custom installation and de-select it.

DM is the program you use to synchronize your calendar, contacts, tasks, etc. After you have completed the installation on your desktop (be patient!), you can connect your BB, fire-up DM manager, select synchronization -> configure, and eventually it should allow you to select Outlook Express as your desktop program with which your BB will synchronize.

I also recommend searching these forums for Desktop Manager and synchronization threads, because there's a lot of good info passed along by folks more experienced than me, detailing solutions to all kinds of problems with DM.

I cannot thank you enough. My address book was moved into the BB. Quick question. My address book from email was merged into the address book from the SIM card. Makes a long list. Anyway to move one of them?

can subfolders be set up in the address book? One for phone only contacts, and one for email contacts?

I don't think so. At least, I don't know how to do it. You might be able to use categories to separate the two, then filter accordingly when you're searching.
