Does anyone know to go about using the tracking device on the bb curve? Not maps or driving directions, but the actual tracking the phone.:

Sprint has a family locator that let's you track phones from their web site 10 bucks a month I believe. If you don't want that you need a 3rd party app like berrylocator,I think it's called.

I use an app called GPS Tracker... at least that's what it's called on my phone and I believe you can find it in the blackberry app world.

The website I log into is called instamapper, from there I can track my phone. It also records the tracks so you can see the history of your phone's movements, and overlays the tracks onto google maps.

Great app and works really well... even auto starts so you don't have to start it up after you turn off your phone or do a battery pull.
