I've had a replacement trackball bought on eBay in my 8310 for awhile now. The trackball button has never worked, but it's never been an issue until now. I updated Google Maps and am now stuck on a screen that gives me two options ("Change permissions" and "Proceed anyway") and doesn't let me select either with enter, space, menu, or anything else. I'm guessing I need to hit the trackball button to get past this menu, but I don't have one. Is there a workaround? Would reinstalling Google Maps work? I have a new trackball on order, hopefully one with a button, but in the meanwhile, I don't have access to Google Maps.
Same problem. My trackball button hasn't worked for months - but it's never been a problem until I tried to reinstall Google Maps and got stuck on this dialogue! Curve 8900 though ...
