I'm new to the Crackberry forum. Recently, I've been having a small issue. Randomly, every once in awhile, when I press down on my trackball to open an application or select a menu item, instead of doing so it enters a character, usually a # or *, as if I were trying to type out a number.
Whenever this happens, I just do the battery pull and reset it, and it works fine again after that (until, of course, the next time it happens). So this isn't really a debilitating issue, but it is at least mildly annoying.
I just replaced my trackball a couple of weeks before this starting happening. There's no indication of keyboard or water damage.
Does anyone have any clue why this might be happening?
