This is a multi-part question. about UMA and WiFi and data.

I am traveling to Europe this summer to a hotel that has free WiFi internet access in Barcelona, Spain.

I have a Blackberry Curve (8320) on the Tmobile network. I have an unlimited data and texting package. I plan to turn OFF my mobile network on the blackberry while I am there and ONLY use it with WiFi.

    1. Will I be able to make and recieve phone calls to and from the USA via UMA thru WiFi with no additional charges? (it is my understanding that this is the case)

    2. Will I be able to send/recieve texts (SMS) and emails via WiFi with no additional charges?

I am planning on adding the international data package for $19 bucks a month for texting and email outside of the resort

Thanks for any help and info.

Yes absolutely you will be able to do both points. Actually, I live in Spain, and I use all the time UMA for text, voice and data without charges.
