I read somewhere you can connect old phones using wifi even if the phone is no longer connected with any carriers so I am wondering if anyone knows of a way I can configure my old verizon bb curve 8330 so it'll connect to a wifi hotspot so I can download apps for my kids to play on the phone?
    -Thanks

Does anyone know if there's a way to sync blackberry game files from my pc to the blackberry with no wifi or internet connection????
I just installed the stupid blackberry desktop and it says .jar and .jad files aren't compatible and won't sync them to the blackberry, unless I'm doing it wrong I guess there's no other way? I thought it'd be like dragging and dropping files like on androids, I have to think that I'm doing something wrong.
