Hi all,
When I type texts on my 8310 in 4.5.0.55, there is a slight delay after each keypress before the charachter appears on my screen. It is so annoying. Texting still works, it is just slow. This has only happened when I text, nowhere else. I have cured this by pressing a letter, waiting. Another letter, wait again. And that only fixes it for a while. Is there any solution besides upgrading my OS? If that's the only resolution, let me know. Thanks!

Might be lagging due to low memory. What is your file free under options status ?

Oh, and when I delete the old messages, it just fills back up again, because I like to text.

You have plenty of available memoury. Did this only start happening after you upgraded your OS?

Yes. It only did it after I upgraded my OS. If I need to get a different OS version, it can be no lower that 4.3, because I have to have the new features.

I never was on 4.3 before, so I have no clue if that will fix it Is 4.3 stable with no major problems like this one?

tech has an 8310, so you would back to 4.2, not 4.3

I have seen a profile of a person with an 8310 running 4.3, so I assume it will work. Would I need to upgrade to something higher, or would I need to go down no lower than 4.3, like I said. But, all things aside, a fix without changing my OS would be wonderful, but not nessecary.

I don't see why 4.3 wouldn't work on your sevice. Try it out and see if it doesn't help.

How do you know? I just want my texting to work properly, and I don't care what OS you tell me to run as long as it's no lower than 4.3.
