    Hello everyone,

I need your help...... my bb8310 is freezing whenever i sent a sms it will take about 2 mins for the screen to go away and then it shows as sending message with a clock...after that the message is sent.. during those 2 mins i cant use the phone at all... i have called AT&T and they transferred me to RIM to help with this issues and nothing.. i have reinstalled the softwared, done a cleaning on the phone, wipe the handheld yet nothing..............

Does anyone know how to fix this? It's driving me insane!

    Thanks

I had a problem like that .. but it was because my inbox was stuffed. I had kept all the texts from my girlfriend and every time I tried to text her my phone would lag bad.

    Is your inbox cleaned out?

If you delete all the texts in your inbox and have done a battery pull, try reading through this and see what happens: How to Free Up Memory on your BlackBerry Smartphone | CrackBerry.com

hmm tough to say then. If you inbox is empty, try viewing your sent messages (hit ALT+O from your inbox) and delete those as well. Not sure what else could be the problem.

Yeah, I'd say thousands of texts is liable to bog a berry down! Delete them all and do a battery pull.

I am experienceing the same problem, I don't have too many sms or emails on the device either. I have it set to only keep them for 2 weeks or something.

I have 26 megs free also. I don't know what is making this happen. I think it's time to replace my second curve. This is good progrees twoards getting a new thunder in a few months.

A related question, when i was going to clean up device memory I saw a memory cleaner option, if I use that what info will I lose?
