Sorry for noob question. Tried playing around with BB to find out how to change text message tone, but couldn't figure it out. Changing the ringtone, however, was too easy.

go to your profiles....scroll all the way down....under advanced options.....highlight the one you would like to change....hit the blackberry button and edit....
