In the USA I'm using a data plan and can tether my 8330 to my PC as a broadband modem.

Is there a way I can continue to use method in Aruba? If so what do I need to do or who can I contact? I'm assuming as a start I'd have to have my phone unlocked.

You cannot unlock an 8330. So if you are roaming in Aruba and tethering you are going to pay massive roaming charges.
