    When I signed up for the BIS plan, the e-mail address I wanted was NOT available. I tried e-mailing the address, and got an error back... assuming it is no longer in use. When I try to register that address now, it shows that its still taken. Anyone know how long before the prior users settings clear up and I can use this e-mail address?

    It's normally held for 3 months. That's as per RIM. You can call T-Mobile, and have them conference you in with RIM, and they can unlock it...

    If you call RIM directly, you'll have to pay for support, thus my option above...

    it might not become available, because i canceled my bb data plan and changed to sk data plan for a little over a year, and just recently came back to bb when i got my curve and it automatically gave me back my old bb email address.
