my girlfriend got the curve from Verizon and she can record video...how can i do this with my bb curve from T Mobile?

You need to wait for OS4.5 or find a beta version. The Tmobile OS does not support video yet.

Word of caution though, if you are not experience with BBs, then do not attempt to load a beta OS. Some users on TMO have reported their SIM cards being fried while running the new betas.

I'm using an unlocked 8310 on TMO and running 4.5.0.46 with no problems. Never have had an issue with betas

yeah it happened to me with 4.5.0.37 but every os after that has been fine. but take sunkast's advice, i also bricked my phone downloading, 44. and that isnt something anyone would like to deal with.

That is because Beta 4.5.0.37 is the version that caused fried SIMs on the 8320. (and you are running 4.5.0.46 on the 8310)

You girlfriend's Curve is running OS 4.3 and your Curve is running OS 4.2.

Her OS has video recording functionality, while yours does not. As others stated, the OS 4.5 Beta opens up this feature... but proceed at your own risk, especially if you are new at all of this!

In the meantime, why don't you get on WiFi and make your GF jealous that her Curve is not able to do that!! (and will never be able to... )

Or, brag that your data plan does not cost an arm and a leg each month
