AT&T from what I've read and searched for about an hour now has not yet released the v4.5 OS and is due to come out on Sept 24th. Does anyone know how to get around this? I went to a AT&T Store and one of the sales consultants had the v4.5 already, do I need to unlock the phone then install it from another carrier?

Just follow the instructions and delete the vendor.xml file otherwise it will not load onto your device.

I followed all the instructions multiple times.
After I run/install OS to my PC, I open desktop manager, connect BB and it does not prompt. Then I go to Application Loader, go to Add / Remove applications and it says "No software is available for your device". Then I go to "Update Applications" and it says the same thing.

Then there is something that yuor missing. Go back and check that vendor.xml file is gone.

yes vendor.xml is gone, I even deleted it out of my recycle bin just to be safe.

I'm already runnin 4.5.52, works beautifully, any difference in this one, I'm also an att customer. But if it aint broke don't fix it rite?!

yes the file i downloaded is 8310M_PBr4[1].5.0_rel81_PL2.7.0.68_A4.5.0.55

Reboot both the PC and the phone and give it another try.

Rebooting the phone - Take out battery without turning off the phone.
Leave the battery out for 30-60 seconds and then put it back.

Sometimes we get busy and cant respond right away. But I would agree with AG to try the reinstalls. If that does not work, I'm out of ideas.

I uninstalled/reinstalled DM v4.6 and OS 4.5.0.55 and seems to be working great, thank you all for your help and am also using crackmem.

it will probably come out with the releas of the 8320

Its been rumored for the past couple of weeks to be Sept 23rd. We'll wait and see if that happens. But then, all other major US carriers T-Mo, Verizon, Sprint have not released yet either.
