    I started getting Intellisync error 0x80040fbs when attempting to sync my curve with outlook-- never had an issue until today. I uninstalled my desktop (4.5)and reinstalled desktop v4.7. My curve connects and the desktop reads the pin# but nothing happens after that. I cannot click on any of the desktop option -- sync, backup, etc.
    Please help me get out of this sync mess.

    Go to blackberry.com and get 4.6 without media manager. Remove 4.7 and use the new one.
