ok help please! Im fairly new to BB and Im sure im missing something simple and will be very embrassed but HELP

everytime i sync my phone, it changes the date/time settings.

why? and how to fix it!

It would help to know what method you are using to sync your BlackBerry, as there are several ways to do it.

And don't be embarrassed, we were all new at one time, and I'm sure someone will be able to help when there is more info.

My guess is that the timezone on your computer does not match what timezone your blackberry is set for. For example if your have your computer's timezone set for mountain time, but your blackberry is set for central time, every time you connect your blackberry to your PC it will change to the PC's timezone (or so I understand)

Please double check your timezone settings on your PC, and confirm that your timezone is also correct on your blackberry.

I've checked my computer settings and the BB setting, everything is the same. but it still does it
