My friend just got a new BB Storm, she has been using a Pearl without a memory card so all her pics and text msgs and pic msgs are saved in the internal BB memory(my guess). If she goes to a Verizon store will they transfer all the information(contacts, pictures, ringtones, txt msg, pics msgs?) from the Pearl to the Storm? If she wanted to save the pictures that are in the BB PEARL to a computer for her pictures files how can she do this? can she use Desktop manager?
When she goes to the Verizon store and they transfer the information, does it wipe out the information from the Pearl?
Can she take the pics and pic msgs from the old blackberry and save them on her pc on a readable file?
She have never used desktop manager before and neither have I.
Verizon should also be able to transfer everything from the Pearl to the Storm as well. Once the Storm is activated and everything has been transferred, she should install Desktop Manager and do a backup of the Storm (always a good idea).
