So I was running an 8130 with 4.5. Today i got an 8310 and wanted to do the device switch. while running it errored and said try again ( something about photo something 4.5) the 8310 is running 4.2. So after that im stuck with the hourglass and the white screen for about 5 min, so i did a battery pull. now its been 25 min and same thing............ did i f up my new curve doing a device switch?? help please?? ):
k, after 30 min i get to a white screen that shows blackberry platform 2.5.0.24 with a list of apps from my old 8130. but it doesnt go anywere from there. If you click on one from the list it say "error starting net_rim_bb_addressbook_app: symbol 'font.measuretext' not found" that was after clicking on address book, but its the same for everything.
