    My phone was having a lot of problems, (wouldn't sync, lock ups, etc.), I had Verizon swap it out, I got the replacement phone today and I have to say the screen looks AMAZING! I don't remember it looking this good when I got my 1st 8330 over a year ago. Is it just me, or did BlackBerry do an update on the display?

    Probably not. You may have just received a 'better' device. Either that, or the screen/keyboard settings are set differently.

    I'd bet a million on the latter..the brightness is probably set way high.

    Well it syncs so I know it's a "better" device however I checked and my previous BB was set to 20% while this is 100%

    Shame to get a new unit since I'm getting a Tour for Xmas

    Yes, but now you have a nice backup device, or something to sell to offset your Tour.
