Default Strange "target" icon on VZ Curve?? anyone else have this?

on my VZ Curve there is a strange target / bullseye icon.. looks like cross hairs of a gun or something, and it in the top left of the screen, directly under the time.

my att curve never had this - does anyone know what it is, or how to get rid of it?

    thanks!

I recall reading this in another post.
It means your GPS "911 Only" is set.
You have two choices "Location" or "911 Only"
    to change it go to:
    Options>Advanced Options>GPS>GPS Services>Change to Location on

Ya, that means there is a GPS signal for the Cops to track.

    Smile target camera 911

when you see the target it does mean that 911 is on and you may find that your camera does not work, change it to 911 only and your camera will work again.
