This happens every now and again for some people. Remove your battery while the device is ON, wait a minute an re-insert...

Heres my troubleshooting paths I check alerts on weatherbug, secondly do a battery pull , then try leaving a vm message and erasing it...

Thanks for the info... usually I can get the red light to go out with a battery pull...so if others are getting this problem...it does sound like a bug
