I just got off of the phone with Sprint. I called to order a nw curve for my son. They don't have any. Seems they pulled every sprint curve to upgrade all of the software. None are available until 3-20 according to the representatives.

makes sense. When I got mine last month, it came with version 4.2.

I just got mine at the end of February and it wasn't upgraded.

its not that they pulled all of them its that they dont have any of the "old" curves left in stock. Meaning curves with 4.3 on them. They are refreshing the unit by installing 4.5 and have released them under a new SKU. which will not be released until 3/20. They arent available to service exchange either.

I just picked mine up at Radio Shack. Cheaper and Desktop Manager automatically upgraded the OS on my first connection.

I noticed they disappeared from Sprints website the same week I got mine I was wondering what was going on.

I've seen it in various places that the 8330 disappeared from the Sprint website, however it has never vanished off the site for my zip code (46825).
