Default sprint lying to me

i think that sprint is lying to me. i have had a lot of issues with my phone in the last week and it came down to them ordering a replacement phone for me. i was at the sprint store for over 3 hours last night and they still could not get the phone working right. they were on the phone with customer support and the guy at the store told me that they created a service ticket for it and it was passed up to a higher department and that the problem would be fixed in 36 hours. is this true? has anyone ever dealt with something like this before? also with this phone problem i have been on the phone for over 7 hours and been at the sprint store for 6 hours, is there any way that i can posssibly be compensated for all of the time that i have put into this issue?

I doubt you would get compensated for your time. If you have insurance you can do this. Call that 1-888 sprint#, ask for blackberry tech support. Explain to the tech that you were told by the in store tech that you needed an "advanced exchange". 9 times out of 10, they will just ask whats wrong with your bb, and ship you out a replacement. If, they give you any issues, call back and get a different tech. I have had to do this a couple of times and it ends up saving you time from going into the store.

"lying".. ?

lol dont be daft...

inept? incompetent? careless? unknowing? uncaring? any one or all of these.. sure... but "lying"??? oh please..

Any employee found guilty of lying would be summarily terminated, in ANY organisation... why do you think they hate you (in particular) that much to lie to you?

What's the problem with the phone because there's a few problems that nothing short of replacing the phone will fix. Did you just get this phone???

the problem is that i dont have any data services and they cant get the phone to provision. they tried with multiple refurb pones at the store last night and the phone still wont provision. i just think that they are doing nothing about it and i will wind up having to go back to the store tomorrow

Did you add the blackberry service for $30 per month? You will need that in order to have data services. I went through the same thing and no one knew what was wrong until I finally got a tech on the phone that realized this.

I have had a lot of problems with sprint myself. They are unhelpful and seem not to care.

I really cannot believe how many people dont know about this....

Go to the following website:
https://indirect3.sprint.com/apps/ad...&FROM_SPRINT=Y

Input your information and a brief description of the problem. If you do this by 11 am you'll have your new phone the next day. After 11 am, you'll have it in 2 days. If you have insurance there is no charge. Also, you NEVER have to deal with a customer service person.

got it all figured out know after another 3 hours on the phone with customer service. they said it was something to do with some random number tied to my account that i have never had anything to do with. but now all seems to be well. i am now restoring all my data to the new phone that i got. hopefully all goes well after this is complete.
