    I have verizon and i need a new phone. I have a sprint 8330 and was wondering if i could unlock it and use it?

    No. The 8330 cannot be unlocked, since it does not have a SIM card.

    CDMA carriers have databases of all the ESNs of phones with their branding. VZW will not allow phones from Sprint or any other CDMA carrier to be added to their network.

    You will need to get a VZW branded device.

    Yep can't use Sprint phones on Verizon.

    Check Craigslist, if you can bargain hard, can be had for $50
