Default Specific Videos crashing my BlackBerry Curve 8310

I converted Despicable Me and the Adventures of TinTin for use on my Blackberry Curve 8310 (to keep my kids occupied during road trips), but when I try to play them, the phone says "loading" and then shuts off. Both of these files are around 450-500 Meg.

I am using the same converter that I've used for two years (DVDVideoSoft's video converter), and these two files are smaller than some of the others that work just fine (Kung Fu-Panda 2 being 700 meg).

I recently installed a new Sandisk 16 gig card in it. However, the other movies I have converted and installed since getting this new card work just fine.

Any idea why these videos might cause the phone to shut off while others won't?

I am open to any suggestions.

could be content protection (copyright) or the video codec used in conversion

what is the version of your OS , there are limits for the size of the SD card with different release of the OS.( so big files may be after the limit size.

BlackBerry Device Software 4.2.0 Up to 2 GB
BlackBerry Device Software 4.2.1 Up to 4 GB
BlackBerry Device Software 4.2.2 Up to 4 GB
