Okay - I've tried pulling the battery several times and deleted all the apps that I installed and all the themes, but my external speaker doesn't work. So the speakerphone isn't working and it isn't ringing.

I'm really hoping there is some way to fix this without trying to deal with Sprint

Options > Status, type "test." There is a section that you can test the various levels of sound. While running this test (if you still hear nothing), try squeezing the phone where the speaker is located. Sometimes the contacts loses it's connection and by squeezing, it makes contact again. If this doesn't work, your speaker probably needs replacing. But if you can hear the test sounds, look elsewhere.

I'll try it - the phone shouldn't need fixed - and it's barely a month old - but on some thread, I read that if you touch the top button (mute) or use headphones (which I have frequently) it can sometimes 'stick' but can't find a way to unstick it if that's the case
