    I've had this problem once in a while where I would be hearing my alerts, rings one minute and the next. SILENCE! They would end up coming back later on or after I reboot but it still happens again from time to time. Anyone else have this issue? (My friend's 8900 does the same so I know it's not just an 8330 issue) Help!

    I've had this happen too--don't know why. The only possibility I can identify at the moment is that it happened after I was modifying my profiles.

    I just came on to post the same problem!
    Yes its been happening to me ever since i upgraded my software!
    I do use a carrying case...can that be the issue?
    anybody call bb support about this?
