I am new here and just got my curve from sprint today.

After the activation, I find that there is no pocket express, sprint TV or BB maps on my curve, which is kinda weird. According to the description of the curve on sprint.com, all of these applications are preloaded.

I dont know what happened. is there anyone had the same situation before?

I can make a phone call and text.

Do I have to load these applications from the desktop manager? I thought all of these are preloaded.

You should be able to get the apps you want from the sprint powerdeck page.

Actually once your account has been properly provisioned the icons all appear but not before. I had the same issue. Took 4 hours before everything connected and all the web icons appeared

I finally understood why people keep telling me I cannot use BB without BB data plan even though I have an unlimited data plan.

The sprint CSR told me I cannot have those features without a plan.

as a closure, I do love the design of the curve but I have to go to moto Q9c because of this.

You guys are so nice. Farewell~

I understand. I am a student, pay the bill by myself and I am not always-on email.

I am using sero plan. I could have 500min, unlimited text messaging and unlimited data access. The best part is that I only need to pay $30/month. If I change the plan, the cost will be doubled.

I think I care more about saving money.

Anyway, thanks. I really like BB and you guys who are using BB.

Didn't know you were a student. I probably would have done the same thing then.
