    Newbie here....Whever I start to change the sms or mms tone my blackberry shuts off and reboots....any ideas why this happens??? Thanks in advance!

    file free is 24384916 bytes. I have done a battery pull and even reset the factory settings. Still does it. Bad phone??????

    Sounds like an issue with the hardware. I would take the phone back if I were you.

    yep i agree. memory usually causes these kind of issues. but the other thing you could try would be wiping the phone and re installing the os

    well I reinstalled the os and the phone still jacked up.....I will have to get it fixed
