can anyone help me? my sms has gotten so slow it takes a long time to open a new message and when i send a message it take a while for the check to appear and the phone is temporarily frozen and the messages background gets distorted. Any help???

Try to see if you can upgrade your OS or see if you have any unwanted background programs running (alt+blackberry button)

i have the newest os and ive done several battery pulls and nothing so far. i dont know what else to do

What do you have for File Free, Options> Status> File Free... and do you have a lot of texts in your inbox/outbox?

i have 36820427 file free and yes i have a lot of messages

If you have a lot of texts this can cause it to be sluggish. Also try composing a new text at times and not simply clicking reply. Sometimes when they thread, it can cause a delay also. Your free files are good.

i have the messages set to delete after 15 days and the threads arent really more than 5 messages long, i keep thinking of ways to free up space but i dont have any extra apps to delete

i'm having the same problem. it used to be faster and i changed the thread size to 5 but i haven't had a chance to see if that helped at all. i alos have it to save them only for 15 days. its a real pain!
