Trying to catch up in the 21st century. These places that say text us at . . . and enter keyword . . . How do you send a text? When using SMS, it wants me to select someone from the contact list.

Compose > SMS > type in the phone number > Ok > Type the message > Send

when you start your SMS and go to add the recipient, scroll to the TOP of your contact list and you should see [use once]. click on that then add the # you wish to text.

It will automatically try to draw from your contacts. Just keep typing the number which will be highlighted in blue. When your done entering the number press enter or the track.

Thanks all. Didn't realize the Use Once was at the top of the Contact List. Got it to work
