Is there any way to change the format that you read SMS's in? For example, make an SMS conversation look like a MSN conversation. Make it nice and clean. Kind of like a BBmessenger but with SMS's?

Not that I know of, unless there is application out there to do this.

There is a third party app out there that does it. My wife had it but now we can't figure out what it was. But just for the information it is out there some where and more than likely there is a link in a post here but someone has to rememberam. Good luck and if we think of the name we will let you know.

I had it I will look through some of my apps and try to find it.

Search for "threaded sms" and u should find the app. I tried it but wasn't to happy with it because all my txt's would fo to both the app (which gives u the messenger like feel) and my sms inbox) it was annoying to me so I got rid of it. But if u don't mind that the app is great!

It's not the "true" threaded texting that they are looking for, like on Palm devices.

it's true...the only thing i miss about my treo was the threaded messaging. the email wasn't that good. i thought i'd miss the touchscreen but i don't.
threaded messaging though...alas...
i've gotten used to the "semi-threaded" style of the BB, and i'm ok with it. that doesn't stop me from wishing that RIM would put real threaded messaging on their devices.
