I've posted this in the Carrier 'corner' but realized it's not really a carrier issue! Anyway, here it is again ..
1) when I turn my phone off over night and then turn it back on the following morning, any received text (sms) messages over night show a time stamp of when the phone was turned back on... is there anyway to change settings so that the time stamp shows when the message was actually sent as opposed to when the phone was turned back on?
2) when receiving a text message - the back-light does not turn on - only the red light flickers. anyway to change that so the screen light comes on when a text message is received?
No, neither of your two questions/requests are possible on the BB.
That totally sucks! Ugh! well not so much the screen light, but the sms time stamp! can never have a perfect device, I guess ... or a perfect anything for that matter!
