It seems that when I get a SMS text I hear a ringtone but when I get an email I only get the LED flasing. I can't seem to figure out how I set this, does anyone else know?

go into your profiles & set it up for each email address you have sent to your BB

Select the Profiles icon, scroll to Advanced, highlight the profile you want to change, hit menu, Edit. Scroll to the email address, then select the tone you want, volume, vibe or not, etc. press the back/escape key, select save.
