    How can I improve my SMS display?? It is so bland. Can you have a differnt color for each contact? Is there a better way to distinguish messages sent vs messages received?

    I don't think that was a stupid question at all. From my understanding, there is no way to change the colors. Good luck! Let me know how it goes!

    Yes. It cannot be changed like that.

    If you install the 5.0 version of the device OS, you will get threaded SMS and you will be able to distinguish sent vs. received messages.
