    Another question....

My texting becomes quite slow after I hit send. It takes a few seconds to go back to my message list. I know it's probably because I have too much text history with the contact but it seems like there should be a way to avoid that. The BB memory is large enough to support a ton of text, why can't it support a bunch from one contact and still run properly?

    Sorry for all the questions....

How much free memory do you have left? Are you running alot of applications? Last battery pull?

My File Free is 48 mil out of 84 mil. I just did a battery reset using the Alt+Right Shift+Del last night. I've run into this problem before too.

Also I hardly use any applications. I make sure to close them out when I do cuz I know that can cause problems. I just have the basic 5 running.

Try making the threading history shorter. Like 20 messages.

Menu-options-sms text-number of previos items. I would keep it at 20 or below and see if that helps!

    Let us know

I wonder if changing your key rate from normal to fast would help you.

Hmmm....what exactly does the key rate do? I'm definitely willing to try it!

If your typing fast and then hiting send real fast sometimes it seems like theres a lag. I went to options/screen keyboar and changed it to fast. It worked for me. Or seemed to anyway...lol.

Haha it seems they may have adjusted for us text addicts who type faster than the phone can think! I'll try it out and see. Thanks for your help!
