hey guys so just yesterday i tried putting a code on my sims card so i can put it into another crappy phone and use it when i go out to bars and if i lose my phone if anyone finds my phone they would have to input a password in order to use it. i tried doing this through my blackberry 8310 locked to rogers. then something happened that i'm not to sure of. the sims then totally "locked" out with no signal and only a SOS signal. i then took out the sims card then insert it into a regular phone some samsung slider locked to rogers. it then told me to type in a PUK code. i then put the now what is totally "locked" sims back into my blackberry and it works fine. its just when i put it into other phones thats not my blackberry that would tell me to type in the PUK code. what is this and how do i "unlock" my sims?
