Just wondering how you guys silence the ringer when someone calls and you can't answer it? I don't like pushing the ignore button because of the "your call has been forwarded to an automated voice messaging system" response, then the caller knows you ignored them.

When I push a key the ringer turns off but only for a few seconds. Any way around this?

Thanks everyone in advance. My thumbs hurt now!!

    Jim

Try pushing the side volume key instead of the back button.

There is a mute button on the top on the phone.

And why would the person think you ignored them. I'd think they
would just think you were busy.

If I really don't want to talk to someone I would just block their number... I always thought the mute button works for this.
