I am a newbie on this site. I have been following the 8300 for weeks now and I have recently read that many have had to return their initial 8300 b/c of glitches. These may be the result of RIM rushing them out to the public. I was in an AT&T store today and played around with a demo Curve for about 20 minutes. I was really tempted to buy it but I want to be sure that the glitches are all worked out. How long should I wait or should I go ahead and purchase one? This will be my first blackbery. I am really trying to be patient. What do you think? Thanks.

Never heard of this rumor. Where on earth would someone come up with this given that it was released 2 days ago??

Very strange! I have mine as well and am LOVING IT! There are times that people say to wait to buy new software releases until they get the bugs worked out and things like that however, in this case, that example doesn't really apply. I say dive in and ENJOY!! This is a great device!

If you wait you'll have trouble sleeping.

Every night when your Curve would automatically shut down you'll wonder where your's is in the world. In the morning you'll wonder if it survived another cold night on a bedside table. (Roll soft music). For pennies a day you could prevent this injustice, for pennies a day you could......

You get the point. Go out, buy the Curve, sleep well and don't let your Curve be a victim of neglect.

    Hopelessly addicted to BB's

Insomnia is a very bad thing - unless you're up late configuring your new Curve.

Ok, that's it, I can't take it anymore! Who's going to take my 8800, and give me a Curve? Or, you can just sponsor me?

Can't wait for the curve to be released for T-Mobile, if that ever happens!

T-Mobile will eventually get the Curve, but it will be at least 90 days. at&t has an exclusive during that time frame. You can also find it online being sold by wirefly and NewEgg, but both are selling at&t services.

Ravenelje, your posts are some of the best I've read here, too funny And I have to agree, yesterday I exchanged my 8800 for a Curve (I was still in my 30 day timeframe) I love, love, love this little beauty, I haven't put it down yet today. Haven't run into any glitches so far, I think this device just might be perfect.

yeah but i heard that is the very reason why t-mobile is releasing the 8320 which is the curve with wi-fi. They can release that sooner than 90 days. google it and check it out. dont be too impatient and miss out.

I have been configuring and having fun with this Curve almost ALL DAY - I also can't put it down. LOVE IT!!

--Did anyone say trackwheel I never thought I would be able to part with my TW however, for some reason the TB on the Curve has a better feel to me than the TB ont he 8800. No idea why. I'm loving this keyboard also!!

At this point do I start a new post or continue with this one.

What is the benefit of Wi/Fi in a handheld device that has internet access?

I love my BB, but a laptop is easier to work on. If I am in an airport and have a G enabled device why do I need Wi/Fi in a BB? The world is Wi/Fi enabled, so why add the feature to a BB?

My goal is not to be antagonistic, I just need to be educated of the benefits of Wi/Fi in a BB?
