Seems that as soon as I make a fool of myself and post something, I figure it out myself, but I've been researching this one for an hour with no luck.

Where can I change the APN settings on my Verizon curve?? I go to options and advanced options...there is no TCP option anywhere. I looked under security settings, everywhere...I cannot find it. Anyone? I'm getting the bad DNS error when I try jmirc.

On my 8310 the TCP setting is found at Options, Advanced Options, TCP.

    So everyone says.

In my research I've come to the conclusion that CDMA phones do not have APN settings. So I'm thinking I can't use jmirc. Anyone on a CDMA network use jmirc, and if so, how?

I too am having the same issue locating the TCP/IP settings to change the apn. I've tried many different things to get jIrc to work but so far no luck. I've allowed it fully to connect and now I just get an error saying "***Error trying to connect to IRC server, aborting. Exception: Unable to open connection."

    Ugh.
