Default Second new Blackberry in 2 days

My brother got a blackberry curve 8330 about 2 years ago. He used it for a month with verizon before deactivating it. I activated it on my plan Saturday. It wouldnt connect to Blackberrys registry. They sent a new one. Same thing today with that one, wouldnt connect to Blackberry. Verizon was on the phone with blackberry for hours trying to figure it out but Blackberry couldnt find my phone in their system at all. Verizon is sending me another replacement overnighted I should have by Friday the latest. Does anyone know whats going on? With both phones i had it would only give me an option for BES on email setup but email settings and browser icons are missing. Register Now under Host Routing Table does not work, it has been done many many many times by me Verizon and Blackberry. Any help is appreciated.

service books might have be to resend.login into verizon site and send service books.

the phone has never been registered with BIS or anything associated with blackberry. I cannot get on any data service on the phone and i cannot log in from my home computer to send the service books.

i just do not understand how a phone sent to me from verizon as a replacement could not be registered with blackberry in any part of their system whatsoever

when i try to log into the bis verizon site from my home computer it says "this device has no been registered with your service provider...", but i have verified that i have the blackberry data plan on my phone

received the second replacement phone today and third overall.. still same issues as the first two. this has to be an issue on verizon's side as there is no way in i had three defective phones. before anyone asks i have the 29.99/mo unlimited e-mail and web data plan
