I went to an espn site to view a video. It took forever so I abandoned it. But I keep getting the hourglass on and off as if it's trying to download/run a script. I closed the browser. Then I disconnected from the network. Finally I shut the phone completely off and kept it off for a few minutes. But when I turned it back on the hourglass was still going on and off intermittently as before. What is running? How can I see what's running and stop it (like using the task manager in XP)?
