Just wondering when I go to my media player to listen to my music (on microSD) it says SCANNING and doesnt show ALL my songs. Its normally missing the last few songs in my list.
Now i did a battery pull and that seemed to solve the problem but I was wondering what causes this...
anyone know?
I've had the same thing happen. I have an 8GB card and it takes a few minutes to 'scan' the card, but eventually all songs/albums come up. Not sure why, but at least you're not alone!
I find that the scanning usually takes place the first time I try to access the card AFTER I have put more music on it using Media Manager. Do you use the same to load music?
If I let it scan completely once, then the next time the card is instantly available and doesn't "scan" anymore.
Yep, that's what happens to me. I usually load music from my iMac via the USB cable (load it as an external drive), it does the scan thing and then it's fine until I update it again.
