might be missing the plot but can you save attachments word pdfs etc from e mail into a folder ? on the BB 8300?
also only a small point but for some reason the feature to zoom in and out on the camera seems to have gone and can I get it to work anyone had this before

You should be able to save items to your memory card...
If using BeamBerry I believe it does it for you, automatically.

Once you're viewing a photo, press menu / zoom. Is that option not there? If it's not, that particular photo might already be at it's max...
