Ok, having been tipped off by Kasper of pics of an 8300 on O2, i checked out the pics. Awesome....

So i rang O2 as i have on pre-order my two upgrades being despatched on the 26th May (was 8800 x 2) to ask about the 8300 and they wouldnt confirm either way excpet to ring on the 25th!!!.

However having read between the line it may be released in the next 2-3 weeks. If this is the case, then i will change my order.

But i have been able to confirm, O2 will send me any phone upto the value of �350 free of charge.

So looks like i will have it very soon, providing there are no screw ups!

Well being so keen, i thought i would try a different option on O2 and see if i could get another answer.

When i enquired about the latest BB handset, you operator asked me if i meant the "BlackBerry Swordfish" - so i casually went i dont know the latest, she replied if you mean the 8300 Swordfish then i cant confirm the release date except soon...!"

Great news, but

1) What Swordfish?
2) Release Date Soon ? Not Good Enough - I want Date, Time and put me on the list....

Looking online it seems the BlackBerry Swordfish is the 8830, but with a camera.

What's the latest date you can change your present order? Am sure you don't want to end up with two different devices - unless they are both free -
