I had the same problem I got some clear finger nail polish and put it on da sidings and top to stop it from peeling and it gave it a nice finish as well

i agree,I like mine better now that I peeled it off too..

now if I could just figure how to get the sides off with effing it up...

I peeled mine off up to where the gps logo is. then left it. I have the power saver hip holster (i know i know but i like it for business) but the holster after only a week of use it rubbed it down to the hard black plastic from taking it out so much.

My GPS logo is getting discoloured, so I would actually like for it to peel off so I don't have to look at it anymore
