hey guys i just recently purchased a bb 8320 and i got a data plan with it for the rebate, but since it was a new line,the sim card went to my old phone. so my parents have the 25$ data plan on their pos so we can get the 100$ rebate. They wnted a # that no one new about so i ended up with a bb with no data plan. I surf the web alot on my phone and realised that since i have no data plan on my phone there are very limited things i can do with it. what are some cool apps that i can use and can i use my wifi connection? and can i get "push" on my phone via wifi, rss feeds, email, news, wether, etc... thanks and any other tips or suggestions would help alot too =)
Push is definitely 100% data plan only. Dunno about rss, you might be able to find a wifi based RSS feed updater. I believe the gmail app can also be Wifi based so it updates email when you have a wifi connection.
