Hello everyone,

I have a problem with getting my
media manager to work.
I downloaded Desktop Manager 4.7 with Media Manager,
but after I installed the software, there is no Media Manager.

I tried this twice...

Am I missing something here?

Ditch Media manager and download 4.6 without Media.. If you have a memory card, which im sure you do, use Mass media storage.

Options-media card-mass media storage-prompt.

Here is my advice.

Delete 4.7 - it is problematic with phones that are not storms. I have tried it as well as many others and it causes issue. I would get 4.6 which works well and get it without media manager...... You should be problem free after that. If you need media manager then at the very least go to version 4.6. You will have less issues with your curve.

oh, okay...

and no, i dont have a media card.
i just have some pictures on the device HD
that i want to pull out and put onto my PC.
i could email them, but there are good handful
of pics.

If you have a USB cord get the one without media manager, my advice. As tae said its easier to just enable mass storage mode.

bah!!!

i tried and now its wierd.
theres this icon, that im guessing
is the media manager icon.
it has like a drawing of a circle, triangle, and rectangle
pointing to a BB phone.
anyways~

the heck??!
i do have a USB, but i still need
media manager to transfer pics and stuff
to my PC, rite?
since i dont have a memory card...

Mass media storage will only work with a media card.

And is that icon on your pc or on your phone.?

I just downloaded 4.6 w/media onto my pc to see what you were talking about. I didnt get what you got. Try to remove and re-install .. Or try installing 4.5 w/media.. that should work for you.

I am having issues with roxio media manager as well. Any time I try to open up media manager, there is no response. It has opened up in the past, but lately, nothing. I never remember having problems with earlier versions of DTM, media manager, but with 4.7, its been shady since the get go.???
