    hi.

I am a recent blackberry owner. I purchased the 8300 curve at Rogers in Toronto, Canada. I was just wondering if I should sell the phone or keep it before I leave Canada at the end of the year?

For starters, I will be moving to London, England for 2009 and in the summer, I will be in Hong Kong, China.

Other than the need to unlock this phone, will I be able to use the blackberry service with other providers in different countries? I heard stories that the PIN is directly locked with Rogers and cannot be changed, altered, or released.

I don't want to keep this great blackberry just as a GSM world phone and would try to sell it before leaving Canada. However, should anyone know if this phone will also work in another country, with the full blackberry service, then I will gladly keep this phone!

I called Rogers and talked with them, they are pretty clueless and seem to read from a book.

    thanks

    Justin
